Ladies’ Bible Study

Abraham: Eyewitness to the Promise
 Mon., Sept. 13, 6:30-8 pm
  • The format will be a book discussion, so books are now required. The Right Now Media videos will be optional, viewed outside of the study.
  • We will start with a discussion of the first week’s lessons on Sept. 13th. The book has five daily studies for each week. We hope that everyone can get their books by Sept. 5th and complete the first week’s study before we meet.
  • The study will be online only using Zoom*.
  • We will continue to use GroupMe for prayer requests.

Jan P. will lead the study discussion. Becka will help or fill in as needed. Cheryl will update the list of group members before the study starts.

*For those who would like to meet together in-person, you’re more than welcome to come to the church and join by Zoom (it would require at least one of you to bring a laptop). The men’s study will be meeting here at the same time, so access to the church is available.
You can sign up at the church or call/email Erin at the church office.

Men’s Bible Study

A Man and His Traps
Mondays, 6:30-8 pm
Begins Mon., Sept. 20th
33 The Series: A man and His Traps challenges and equips men to go below the surface, to look deep into their hearts and explore some areas that are all too easy to ignore but that are critical in their journey toward Authentic Manhood. It introduces a framework and a process that will help men understand what lies behind the manhood traps and beneath the heart idols that can distract them from the truth and the power of the Gospel.
Then it unfolds a biblical battle plan that helps men replace specific temptations and struggles with God’s better promises. It deals head-on with issues that all of us as men can relate to like sexual lust, the need for control, unfounded fear and the pursuit of significance.
Book cost: $15.
The study will be led by Glenn and Lance.
