What to expect

Thinking of visiting?  You’re always welcome…

Checking out a church for the first time can be daunting – where do I go?  Is there a place for my kids?  What’s the service like?

These are great questions.  Here’s some FAQs that might help:

Q:  What happens on Sunday mornings?

A:  There’s always coffee and plenty of visiting and church “family time” to catch up on the week and welcome our guests.  That’s followed at 9:00 by Bible classes for everyone (August-May) and our worship service at 10:15.  We’re usually finished around 11:30.

Q:  Tell me more about your Bible classes.

A:  We have classes for children and students, from nursery through middle and high school.  For adults, there are several Bible studies of around 20-30 people each on several topics – from handling conflict well, to building a great marriage, to studying a book of the Bible.  All classes are open and you can drop in any time.

Q:  What happens in church?

A:  Every week we have a time of worship, prayer, and a message from God’s Word.  We believe our teaching should be rooted in the Bible along with real-life, practical applications for today.  We want you to leave equipped to live a great life in Christ!

We also observe Communion once a month, usually on the first Sunday.

We also have Bible studies through the week, some early morning and some in the evening, that fit most any schedule.

More than anything, what you’ll find here is a strong family who’s committed to walk together through thick and thin, no matter what.  Maybe it’s just what you’ve been looking for.
